Pamphlets promoting employment and careers in the workforce

 

The NSW Drug and Alcohol Workforce Development Council, a State Government Ministerial Council, has produced a set of three recruitment pamphlets encouraging university students, professionals and mature aged people to join the drug and alcohol workforce.

12 - 14 May 2008 - Seen & Unseen Harms

The Australian Winter School 2008, held over three days, has been divided into separate themes for each of the three days, they are:

Monday: Families and alcohol and other drugs (AOD),

Tuesday:  Workplace and AOD issues, and:

Wednesday: Social Exclusion (including mental health and indigenous issues).

Confirmed presenters for the 2008 conference include Professor Margaret Hamilton, Associate Professor  John Toumbourou,  Dr Maree Teesson, Professor Paul Mazzerole,  Associate Professor John Pead.  Dr Lisa Najavits from Harvard Medical School is also traveling to Brisbane to present at Winter School.
